Headed to Haiti!

We are very excited to announce that the Good Girl Comeback is headed to Haiti!

We are traveling there on a week-long mission trip to volunteer at an orphanage in Port au Prince. Personally, I have been on six different mission trips and each time it was a life changing, humbling experience that I highly recommend…

That’s why I am VERY excited to tell you that you can be a part of our mission trip in two different ways: 

1) Come with us. We are inviting all women ages 16+ to come along! Here are the details:

*Who: A group of women involved with the Good Girl Comeback, including myself,  will be making the trip to Haiti.

*What: We will be working with the Missionaries of Charity – the order that Blessed Mother Teresa founded! We will work in their orphanage and school helping with the children.

*When: August 2nd-9th, 2013.

*Where: We fly into Port au Prince, Haiti and stay at the Walls International Guest House.

2) The second way you can participate is by donating to our trip! You can donate supplies OR monetarily:

Donate Supplies. The orphanage needs the following:

*Cloth Diapers
*Hospital baby gowns (No onesies, simple gowns with back buttons or ties)
*Teething toys/baby toys (balls, small dolls, toy cars)
*Crib toys (the ones that attach to the crib and hang)
*Baby wipes
*Washcloths
*Baby powder
*Baby formula
*Gauzeand surgical tape
*Antibacterial creams
*Baby bottles
*Anti-fungal creams
*Soccer balls and air pumps
*Shoes and sandals/jellies (ages 2-8)

If you want to donate supplies and live in the West Bloomfield, MI area – email me at ggcb@goodgirlcomeback.com and we can arrange a pickup.

Donate Monetarily. If you donate funds to our trip they will go towards the following:

*Purchasing the list of supplies above – we want to bring as much as we possibly can!
*Paying additional baggage costs to take the supplies with us.
